Here at the Traveller' Rest we believe in the traditional values of good food, good drink and most of all great service.

Tim along with his collegues, want to make your visit a happy and memorable occassion that you will remember and cherish for a long time.

 

Tim took over the pub in August 2006, and has spent the past 5 years working to give you - the customer - a wide choice of delicious food and drink that will appeal to all tastes and at a price that won't hurt your pocket!

 

His Chefs Di & Andy have created a wonderful  menu that will cater for every taste, and are working all the time to create new and exciting meals - they also produce all of there own desserts, so when we say 'Homemade' we mean Homemade.

 

Food is served everyday, lunchtime and evening:

Monday to Saturday

12 pm - 2 pm

 

  6 pm - 9 pm

Sunday

12 pm - 7pm

Carvery* is served every Sunday (full menu and specials also served)

*Wheat and gluten free options available.

 

 

You can eat either in the bar, restaurant area or the beer garden (weather permitting).

 

We also stock a varied selection of wines, a large selection of spirits, 3 real ales, as well as lagers, beers and an amazing pint of Guinness!

 

We also use local suppliers as much as possible, because then we can be assured of not only the quality, but also the freshness.

Our ales are supplied by THE REAL BEER COMPANY

Our fruit juices are supplied by FROBISHERS

Our wines are supplied by REGENCY WINES

Our Vegetables are supplied by STEERS GREENGROCERS

 

Our Butchers are J & A GIBBINS

We are aware that some customers have certain dietary requirements and we are happy to produce meals, where possible, to cater for these needs. Just give us a call to discuss your specific requirements.
