This old 16th Century Devon coaching house was once a regular meeting place for genteel folk travelling from London to Cornwall.
Many changes have been made since the days of the original building, which was used as a farm sale room, where landowners used to barter over the price of cattle (and beer).
The Travellers Rest is that ideal setting whether it be for Lunch, Dinner or just to relax with a drink and watch the world go by.
